Yesterday was a beautiful day to kick off the summer with good golf, great friends and new experiences. A dozen of us took to the CTA to commute from downtown Chicago all the way to the Evans at Canal Shores for the inaugural Purple Line Classic, a tournament unlike any other. 


Players were limited to 5 clubs of their choosing to take on a short but challenging course. The overall vibe of the day was an interesting mix of serious competition, unserious side games and what some would consider too many libations.
